PGA JUNIOR LEAGUE 2021 information to be announce in February The Pine Meadow Golf Club iPines program is dedicated to creating an environment of learning, respect and FUN that will promote the game of golf as an individual and family activity for a lifetime of participation and enjoyment. Our program is based on the American Development Model (ADM) for long term athletic development. While our program does not include participation awards, our program does acknowledge and reward effort. Our mission: We are committed to enriching lives through experiences that transcends golf. Meet the Coaches: Robert Powers, PGA life member, retired from Skokie Country Club, currently an instructor at Pine Meadow Golf Club. Has taught juniors, adults, beginners to PGA tour players. Level II certified with Plane Truth Golf by Jim Hardy. As a player has won the ILPGA Section Championship as well as other Illinois PGA Section events. John Andrews, PGA Teaching Professional, Pine Meadow Golf Club for over 20 years and has been honored as the Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year. John is known for his ability to work with beginners and intermediate players as well as the "weekend warrior" and elite players. However, John is equally proud of the beginner hitting their first shot in the air and smiling as he is with a student winning a club championship or getting a college scholarship. Jim Seward, retired teacher/golf coach, 35 years as a high school teacher and administrator, 25 years girls golf coach at Libertyville and Vernon Hills High Schools. Coached two teams and numerous individuals into IHSA State Finals. Has been involved with Pine Meadow program with our former Junior Tour, Collegiate Tour, Nike and PGA Summer Camps as well as our Jr. League and Pre-Season League programs. Chris McConnell, PGA member, Chris has instructed adult and junior golfers for over 25 years. The last 15+ years have been in the Chicagoland area. Conducting over 15 junior camps, 10 adult clinics as well as having taught an average of 600 lessons annually. He has worked with many top professionals and has been involved with golf schools like Jack Nicklaus/Jim Flick and John Jacobs. 2020 PGA Jr. League Details: Registration fee: $315.00 which includes uniform cost, two league practices, 5 matches, green fees, range balls, and instruction.
